The OTC in Houston - Meet Erdos Miller at Booth #7125
This year’s Offshore Technology Conference will take place on May 2nd through May 5th in Houston, Texas. OTC started in 1969 and remains a great conference to access innovative technical information, make industry connections, and see what they call “the industry’s largest equipment exhibition.”
This year, we will host booth #7125 , and we would love to meet innovative individuals who have a passion technology development and new ideas.
Featuring Erdos Miller Technology Demonstrations at OTC
With OTC located in our hometown, we are excited to host a booth at the conference. We will be sending twelve Erdos Miller team members with oil-and-gas-specific expertise in electronic device development and control and automation and will be featuring several technology demonstrations, including:
[Featured Technology Demonstration] Mud Pulse Telemetry Demo
When your bottom hole assembly (BHA) is miles down-hole, one of the most reliable ways to connect to your tool is through mud pulse telemetry. We will be showing off a model that demonstrates how controlled mud pressure at the bottom of a tool string is converted to usable data on the surface.
[Featured Technology Demonstration] daq.io - Monitor, view and analyze your devices and measurements online
We will demonstrate how you can use daq.io to optimize connect your machine to the Internet of Things via any internet connection and rapidly transport complex, custom equipment monitoring data from a remote location to the comfort of your home, office, or mobile device. In oil and gas exploration and production, rig and well sites are often plagued with a slow or intermittent data connection, but being able to view field-data in real time can lead to making smarter decisions that put you a step ahead of the competition and save your company time and money. Erdos Miller has developed custom cloud-based solutions for many customers but found that this was both expensive and time-consuming. That’s why we use daq.io, which allows you to get your machine data connected to the cloud in as little as one day for a fraction of the cost.
[Featured Technology Demonstration] L-K Industries Centrifuge Automation
Sometimes you should fix something even if it is not broken. L-K Industries, a forward-thinking company that makes oil testing equipment, including mobile and lab-based centrifuges, has collaborated with Erdos Miller to make their mobile platform faster, more repeatable and safer. We will be showing how Erdos Miller has coupled L-K’s technology with state of the art vision inspection algorithms using National Instruments LabVIEW to create an innovative product that is highly differentiated from other offerings.
