On this page, we are laying out a short tutorial to help you get started with Control References Node (LabVIEW Add-on):

STEP 1: Install VI Package Manager: https://vipm.jki.net/get

VI Package Manager will allow you to install LabVIEW add-ons.

STEP 2: Extract the the .Zip file that you just downloaded from the previous page.

STEP 3: From within the extracted folder, open the file "em_control_refs-4.0.0.10.vipc"

STEP 4: Select the version of LabVIEW to install to.

Remember that Control References Node works with versions of LabVIEW 2015 and later.

STEP 5: Make sure you select both items and click "Continue".

STEP 6: Review and accept the License Agreements.

STEP 7: If prompted, allow NI Register Add-ons to make changes.

STEP 8: Read the file Documentation.pdf from the extracted folder.
